David Marks
Business Manager
David Marks brings his 28 years of experience as the Band Director at Midland Park High School with him as well as a long list of accomplishments in the marching arts. Since 1995 he has been teaching and doing visual design for various Marching Bands along the East Coast. His credits include 7 USbands Championships and a New York State Field Band Championship. He was a performing member of the 1995 Caballeros that went undefeated enroute to the Corps 8th DCA Title. He returned to the Corps in 2022 as a volunteer when his son, TJ, was a member of the Tuba line. Over the past two seasons he has been serving as the Assistant Operations Manager. During this time his skills were used in various ways including management of the props and vehicles and being part of the team that organized the Corps’ first trip to Indianapolis. “The Caballeros opened doors for me at the start of my career and since my return I have strived to provide that opportunity for the members of today. We must give back to the activity that gave so much to us. I have the unique perspective of having known everyone who has ever led this corps and to be part of the team going forward is an honor, privilege and great responsibility. The legacy of this storied organization has been part of my life for 30 years and I hope we share that legacy with every member who walks through our doors and wears the sombrero. Cos will always be our director and those of us in leadership have a responsibility to strive for the level of excellence he would have expected!”
