Fundraising Letter from the Hawthorne Caballeros Administration
Every year is a challenge to field a corps. This year, with all of the new equipment that had to be purchased, things are very tight!
As you know, with most of our members being in either high school or college, they are having a difficult time meeting their dues obligation. Therefore, we are looking for a little help from our family and fans of the Caballeros! The hotel bill coming up next week for DCA Finals costs around $30,000, with an additional $8,700 for buses. It is our hope that some of you can help out a member by paying for their room which costs $150.00 for the three day weekend.
We are also in need for some sponsors to defray the cost of the after-finals pizza party. The Alumni Corps has already graciously donated money to cover half of the pizza order (it’s a big order).
Please don’t get scared off, any donation will help! You can make your donation at our site, http://www.hawthornecaballeros.org/, and just click on the ‘Donate‘ button (located on the left-hand side of the site).
On behalf of the entire Caballero Family we thank you in advance for all of your support!!!
LET”S GO HAWTHORNE!
Sincerely,
The Hawthorne Caballeros Administration
